The Town Council rent office space within the Diamond Jubilee Town Hall, a registered charity within the town.
Public drop in sessions at the Town Council office are Tuesdays and Thursdays between 12-4pm, currently by appointment only for community safety. The Clerk is available to meet at other times by appointment.

The Town Council display information within noticeboards situated outside the Town Hall, the Primary School, no 5 Church Street and at the York Road junction with Bircham Crescent.
​
The Town Council has responsibilities for four of the towns charities (The Green and The Market Place, Torksey Charity, The War Memorial and Garden of Edward Elmhirst Duckering and KLASSIC Park) as well as Grove Street Cemetery and the play area on The Green.
