Home Library Service

If you are unable to visit a library in person through ill health, disability or infirmity, you can join the Home Library Service.

We can supply you with a FREE and full library service in your own home, including:

​

  • Books in regular and large print

  • Talking books on compact disc

  • Regular monthly visits by trained volunteers

  • The full range of loan stock and information available at the region’s libraries

  • Longer loan periods and no charges

From our volunteer:

“I can bring books, including large print and audio to those who are not physically able to go to the library by themselves..  I visit once a month and can either bring your selection or choose for you from your favoured type of book, and I cover the whole of Kirton in Lindsey.  It’s a completely free service.”
