North Lincolnshire Council provides a household waste recycling centre in the town and weekly refuse collections.
​
The site is for household waste only and large vehicles and trailers may require a permit to be allowed on site.
Opening Times:
March to October 10am to 6pm (closed Wed and Thurs)
November to February 10am to 4pm (closed Wed and Thurs)
Refuse Collections
Normal collection day is Friday.

You are provided with an annual calendar which details changes to the schedule throughout the year due to public holidays.

General waste bins along with kerbside recycling boxes are collected one week and then the next week Recycling bins and garden waste bins are collected. This continues on a rotation basis.
Clothes Banks
Fire Station, West Cross Street.
There is a clothing bank located outside the fire station on West Cross Street to raise funds for the Firefighters Charity. It accepts towels, blankets, household linen, shoes, trainers and handbags as well as adults’ and children’s clothing. Items should be placed in plastic bags and please tie shoes together.
Station Road Co-op
There is also a clothing bank located in the rear car park at Station Road Co-op to raise funds for the Salvation Army. The bank welcomes good quality clothing and accessories as well as shoes including trainers.
